1. Who we are
Swind is operated by Woodez ("we", "us", or "our"), based in Canada. You can reach us at support@tryswind.com with any privacy questions.
2. Information we collect
We collect information you provide directly (name, email address, billing information), information generated by your use of the service (campaigns created, images uploaded, opens tracked), and technical information (IP address, browser type, pages visited) collected automatically via cookies and similar technologies.
3. How we use your information
We use your information to provide and operate the Swind platform, process payments, send transactional emails (receipts, account notices), improve the product, and respond to support requests. We do not use your data to train AI models or sell it to third parties.
4. Opens tracking
When your subscribers open emails containing Swind-hosted images, we record that an image was loaded. This data is used to calculate your monthly usage against your plan's opens limit. We do not build profiles of your subscribers or share individual subscriber data with third parties.
5. Data storage
Your data is stored on servers provided by Supabase and Cloudflare R2, with infrastructure located in the United States. Images you upload are stored securely and accessible only by your account.
6. Cookies
We use essential cookies to keep you logged in and remember your session. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. You can disable cookies in your browser, but this will prevent you from staying logged in.
7. Third-party services
We use the following third-party services: Stripe (payment processing), Supabase (database and authentication), Cloudflare R2 (image storage), and Vercel (hosting). Each of these services has their own privacy policy governing how they handle data.
8. Data retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Deleted campaigns and images are removed from our storage systems within 30 days. After account deletion, we may retain anonymized, aggregated usage data for analytics purposes.
9. Your rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at support@tryswind.com. We will respond within 30 days.
10. Canadian residents
We comply with Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and applicable provincial privacy laws. If you have concerns about our data practices, you may contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
11. Children
Swind is not intended for use by persons under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have done so, contact us and we will delete the information promptly.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or via the platform. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent update.
