How Swaps work
Set it up once and keep full control over every campaign you've ever sent.
Upload your design
Drop in your finished email artwork, the same JPEG or PNG you'd export from Canva or Figma.
Slice into sections
Split the design into rows so it loads fast and renders crisply in every email client.
Paste the HTML once
Copy our generated table and paste it into Klaviyo, Mailchimp, or any ESP. You never touch it again.
Update anything, any time
Re-upload a new image or change a link destination. Every inbox that re-opens the email updates instantly.
Everything you need
Fast live updates
Changes are typically live within seconds. No cache-busting, no workarounds.
Full link control
Redirect any slice to a new destination. Perfect for swapping sold-out product links.
Fix a wrong image
Sent the wrong creative? Replace the image without resending the campaign.
Works with any ESP
Klaviyo, Mailchimp, Brevo, HubSpot, ActiveCampaign, if it accepts HTML, Swaps works.
Set each one independently
Campaigns and flows have different lifecycles. Swind lets you configure the refetch window for each separately, so a one-time promotional email behaves differently from an automated welcome sequence.
The longer your refetch window, the more opens are counted, because every re-open (including bots and email security scanners) fetches the image again. A shorter window means fewer opens consumed.
Full explanation in our guide →One-time sends. A short window covers correction time without accumulating unnecessary re-fetch opens from bots.
Automated sequences where new subscribers enter at different times. A longer window keeps images fresh for everyone.
Good to know: Google, Outlook, and other email clients use security bots that pre-fetch images before the subscriber even opens the email. These count as opens too, another reason a tighter window saves opens.
Your correction window, your rules
You decide how long each email stays live and editable. After the window closes, the image freezes at its last saved version, and stops counting opens.
Fix-it window
Covers typos, wrong images, and broken links right after send. Minimal bot exposure, great for high-volume campaigns where opens matter.
Standard window
Most re-opens happen within a week. Good default for campaigns where you want flexibility without leaving things open indefinitely.
Your choice
Set any duration you want, from a few hours to several weeks. Match the window to your campaign lifecycle and open budget.
